FAQ

The answers to the questions we are asked most

Materials, maximum sizes, fireproof versions, response times, contract work and shipping: here you will find, in brief, everything you need to know whether we can be useful to you.

Products, processes and quotations

What is a hollow-core panel, and how does it differ from a solid panel?

A hollow-core panel is made of a perimeter wooden frame — in our case finger-joint fir — filled with a honeycomb core and faced on both sides. The result is a structure far lighter than a solid panel of the same thickness, but with excellent rigidity and flatness. For trade-fair setups this means walls that are easy to transport and assemble, without giving up solidity.

What is the maximum length of the hollow-core panels you produce?

We make hollow-core panels up to 6 metres long in a single element, avoiding visible joints on the largest walls. Standard thickness is 40 mm, but we also work other thicknesses on request: send us the project measurements and we will check the best solution.

Do you produce fire-rated panels for trade-fair stands?

Yes. Besides the raw and laminated versions we make fireproof hollow-core panels, required by the regulations of many trade-fair venues, and reinforced versions for walls that have to carry loads or equipment. We use Class 1 adhesives and work to FederlegnoArredo quality standards.

How long does it take to receive a quotation?

We normally reply to quotation requests within 24 working hours. To speed things up, attach technical drawings, plans or renderings: a DWG, a PDF or even a dimensioned photograph is enough. You can send everything from the Request a quote page.

What are your production and delivery times?

Lead times depend on the type of process, the quantities and the finishes required, so they are defined and confirmed together with the quotation. We work regularly with the tight deadlines of the trade-fair calendar: if you have a fixed installation date, tell us straight away and we will plan production accordingly.

Do you also work on a contract basis for joineries and furniture makers?

Yes, it is a major part of our business. We produce semi-finished parts and furniture components — lacquered doors, fronts, worktops, sides, boiserie, headboards and shelves — and offer contract painting and lacquering on items supplied by the customer too.

How many finishes and colours are available for lacquering?

Lacquering in any RAL shade, in gloss, matt or gloss UV finish. We also carry out brushing and vintage effects. If you have a colour reference from another supplier or a physical sample, we can work from that.

Which door models do you produce, and in what sizes?

The catalogue includes 33 models across three lines: Laminated, Lacquered and Routed Superior. Standard sizes run from 60 to 90 cm wide by 210 cm high, hinged or sliding. Non-standard sizes and special finishes are made to order: the full catalogue is on the Doors page.

What kind of parquet do you supply?

Three-layer pre-finished parquet in oak, ash, olive ash, walnut, American walnut, maple, elm, larch and steamed larch. Herringbone laying, brushed finish, UV oil treatment and square edge are all available. Full details on the Flooring page.

Do you also supply platforms and assembly accessories for stands?

Yes. Alongside the panels we make hollow-core levelling platforms — raw or clad — hollow-core doors (including porthole, panic, sliding and double versions) and the I, L, T and X connectors that hold the structure together. Data sheets for every component are on the Data sheets and price list page.

Which areas do you deliver to?

We serve the whole of Italy and work regularly with exhibitors at the main trade-fair venues — Fiera Milano, VeronaFiere, BolognaFiere and IEG Expo. We also ship abroad: tell us the destination in your quotation request and we will quote the transport.

Is there a minimum order?

We do not apply a rigid minimum order: we assess every request according to the process involved. For smaller supplies the unit cost is of course affected by set-up time, so at the quotation stage we always indicate the quantity that makes the supply most cost-effective.

Where is the company located, and how can I visit you?

We are in Fontanelle, in the province of Treviso, at Via I° Maggio 14. Visiting the plant is the best way to see materials and finishes in person: write to ordini@pandooragroup.it or call +39 335 632 6505 to arrange an appointment. All details are on the Contact page.
