Pan.door.a S.r.l. — Fontanelle, Treviso

Honeycomb panels, doors and joinery made to measure since 1987

We are a manufacturer in the Treviso woodworking district. We build honeycomb panels for trade-fair stands, interior doors, wooden flooring and furniture components — made to measure, with every stage from cutting to lacquering carried out in house, and with the punctuality the trade-fair calendar demands.

We work for stand builders and exhibiting companies across Italy, and for furniture makers and joineries that entrust us with semi-finished parts and finishes on a contract basis. We normally answer quotation requests within 24 working hours, in Italian, English, French and German.

Production areas

Five processes, one single production chain

Cutting, edge-banding, routing, lacquering and packing all happen in the same plant: that is what lets us keep tolerances and lead times under control even on the tightest orders.

Who we work for

Two different worlds, the same need for precision:

  • Stand builders and event agencies that have to deliver a finished stand on a fixed date.
  • Exhibiting companies in every sector, from design to food & beverage and technology, that want a presence consistent with their brand.
  • Furniture makers and joineries that outsource semi-finished parts, lacquering and finishes.
  • Architects and designers who need non-standard elements made to drawing.

A selection of the builds we have supplied is collected on the Projects page.

Where we operate

Our plant is in Fontanelle, in the province of Treviso, at the heart of the Veneto furniture district. From here we serve the whole of Italy and ship abroad.

Stock in the Netherlands. Besides the factory in Italy we hold thousands of raw honeycomb panels in standard sizes at our warehouse in Waalwijk (NL): about 95 km from the Hook of Holland–Harwich ferry, 100 km from Amsterdam RAI, 90 km from Antwerp. No production lead time, just loading and the drive; collection is also possible. See stand panels in stock in the Netherlands.

We work regularly with exhibitors and stand builders at the main Italian trade-fair venues: Fiera Milano, VeronaFiere, BolognaFiere and IEG Expo in Rimini and Vicenza.

We work to FederlegnoArredo quality standards and use Class 1 adhesives. More about the company on the About us page.

In brief

The questions we are asked most often

What is a hollow-core panel?
It is a panel made of a perimeter wooden frame filled with a honeycomb core and faced on both sides. It weighs far less than a solid panel of the same thickness, yet keeps its rigidity and flatness: that is why it is the standard solution for stand walls.
How long can your panels be?
Up to 6 metres in a single element, with no visible joints. Standard thickness is 40 mm; other thicknesses are available on request.
Do you produce fire-rated versions?
Yes, we make fireproof honeycomb panels that meet trade-fair regulations, as well as reinforced versions for walls that have to carry loads, screens or equipment.
How long does a quotation take?
We normally reply within 24 working hours. Attaching drawings, layouts or renders to your enquiry shortens the process considerably: you can do it from the quote form.
Do you also work on a contract basis?
Yes. We manufacture semi-finished parts and furniture components, and we also offer painting and lacquering on items supplied by the client.
