Made-to-measure doors

33 models, three lines, one construction logic

Our doors are built with the same technique we use for hollow-core panels: a perimeter wooden frame, a honeycomb core and facing on both sides. It is a structure that stays stable over time, puts little weight on the hinges and lets us work on non-standard sizes without compromising flatness.

Every model is available hinged or sliding, with standard sizes from 60 to 90 cm wide by 210 cm high. For special projects we make non-standard heights and widths to drawing.

Laminated line

A laminate surface, wear-resistant and easy to clean. The most practical choice for offices, hospitality and high-traffic spaces.

Lacquered line

Lacquering in any RAL shade, gloss or matt. The continuous surface is ideal where the door has to disappear into the wall.

Routed Superior

Twenty models with engravings and panels cut on a router: contemporary geometries or classic designs, always with the depth that only machining can give.

Doors for Dubai and the UAE

We export made-to-measure doors to the Emirates for villas, residential towers and hotels: tall and flush-to-wall doors in any RAL shade, and EI fire-rated, acoustic guestroom doors built to the door schedule. See interior doors in Dubai, hotel doors in Dubai and the Dubai & UAE overview.

Doors for Croatia, Cyprus and Albania

Three markets we follow directly from the factory, each with its own logistics. Croatia is inside the EU and the eurozone: no customs, one day by truck to Zagreb or Rijeka — see interior doors for Croatia (or the Croatian pages, unutarnja vrata po mjeri). Cyprus is in the EU but is an island, so shipments go by sea to Limassol — see interior doors for Cyprus (in Greek: εσωτερικές πόρτες). Albania is outside the EU: goods clear customs, but duty is zero under EU preferential origin with an EUR.1 certificate — see interior doors for Albania (in Albanian: dyer të brendshme me porosi).

Doors for trade-fair stands

Alongside interior doors we manufacture hollow-core stand doors: raw or laminated, fire-rated, with porthole, fitted with a panic bar, sliding or double-leaf. They are designed to integrate into hollow-core panel walls and to be assembled and dismantled repeatedly without losing alignment.

The complete data sheets, with dimensioned drawings and price list, are on the Data sheets and price list page.

Finishes and customisation

  • Custom RAL lacquering, gloss or matt, carried out in house.
  • Laminates in a wide range of wood decors and solid colours.
  • Routing to the client's drawing, in addition to the 20 catalogue models.
  • Hardware and sliding systems matched to the finish.

The lacquering cycle is described on the Wood Painting, Lacquering and Polishing page.

Manufacturer

We make the door, we finish it, we fit it

We have manufactured interior doors since 1987 and we are not a reseller: the panel, the lacquering and the installation are ours. That is why, faced with an out-of-square opening, a 240 cm height or a colour that is in nobody's catalogue, the answer is almost always yes.

Every door is built to the measured opening. Made to measure is not a surcharge line on a price list — it is the normal way we work, and it is the reason a renovation does not end with a bricklayer adapting the wall to a catalogue door.

Construction

How the door is built, and why it matters

The construction is the same one we use for our trade-fair panels: a perimeter frame in finger-jointed solid timber, a lightweight core and two facings bonded under press. It is what keeps a tall or oversized leaf flat over time — the property that separates a door that still closes after five winters from one that does not.

Concealed hinges

Three concealed hinges, adjustable on all three axes: height, depth and lateral. That adjustment is the difference between a door that rests against the frame and one that closes without being pushed.

Magnetic latch

Silent closing with a magnetic latch and striker, plus a perimeter seal. It is the part people touch every day and the first thing noticed when quality is low.

Reversible hand

Hinged leaves are reversible: the opening direction is decided at survey stage, when changing it costs nothing.

Architraves

7/9 plywood architraves on both sides, flush with the wall, adapted on site where the wall is irregular.

What has to be decided before production
DecisionOptionsWhat it affects
Opening typeHinged, surface sliding, pocket sliding, flush-to-wallCost and installation time far more than the leaf itself. A pocket door requires the sub-frame to be set before the wall is closed.
FinishLaminate, RAL lacquer, routed SuperiorThe single largest cost item. Laminate is the economical, abrasion-resistant option; lacquer allows any RAL shade and can be touched up or repainted years later.
SizeStandard or oversizedHeights of 240 and 280 cm, non-standard widths and double leaves are built as such, with frame and panel cut for that opening.
SheenGloss, satin, mattMatt is the most requested and hides wall irregularities; satin is the most balanced for everyday use; gloss is beautiful but unforgiving of any imperfection.

Frequently asked questions

Do you make doors to non-standard sizes?

Yes — it is the normal way we work rather than an option. Heights of 240 and 280 cm, non-standard widths, double leaves and irregular wall thicknesses are built for that specific opening. The perimeter-frame construction is what allows a leaf to leave the standard sizes and still stay flat.

Can you match a specific colour?

Any shade in the RAL range, gloss, satin or matt, lacquered in our own finishing department. If your reference has no RAL code — an existing window frame or a piece of furniture — send us the physical sample: we identify the closest shade and tell you honestly how close it is.

How long does production take?

Six to eight weeks for doors lacquered in a RAL shade: that is a full finishing cycle — primer, intermediate sanding, top coat — which we do not compress. Laminated models in standard sizes are quicker. The written quotation, normally within 24 working hours, confirms the date.

Do you install the doors yourselves?

In our own area — the provinces of Treviso, Pordenone, Venice and Padua — yes, with our own team: whoever built the door is whoever fits it. Elsewhere we supply only, and installation is handled by your fitter.

Can doors be replaced without building work?

In most cases yes, by reusing the existing sub-frame if it is sound, plumb and square. It has to be replaced only if it is rotten at the base, significantly out of plumb, or if the new door is a different size.

What is the difference between a laminated and a lacquered door?

A lacquered door is finished with a full painting cycle on the individual leaf and can take any RAL shade; it can be touched up and repainted years later. A laminated door has an industrially applied surface: cheaper and very resistant to abrasion, but a chip stays visible.
