Assembly in 3D

Four platforms on adjustable feet, in the order they are assembled. Choose the size, set the foot height between 50 and 100 mm and press “Simulate platform assembly”. The “Foot” view shows the part on its own, with its full travel.

What you need

Honeycomb platform · PL

Fir frame, high-load honeycomb core, 4 mm MDF skins. Delivered squared, drilled for the foot pins and with notches for adjustment. Sizes 998 × 998, 998 × 498 and 498 × 498 mm, or made to measure.

Adjustable foot · PR-001

Base, threaded rod and top plate with four pins that go into the platform holes. Adjustment from 50 to 100 mm.

Finishing

Floor tiles 11 or 18 mm thick in the same sizes as the platforms, and perimeter edge covers in the same finish.

Step-by-step assembly

1 · Mark out the grid

Start from the floor plan: the foot grid follows the platform sizes (1000 × 1000, 1000 × 500, 500 × 500 mm).

2 · Place the feet at the corners

A PR-001 adjustable foot goes on every corner, shared by the platforms that meet there. This is the basic layout.

3 · Add intermediate feet

Where more load capacity is needed or the floor is uneven, further feet go at mid-sides and in the centre of the large platform: the holes are already there.

4 · Set the height

The threaded rod raises the foot plate from 50 to 100 mm. With the 40 mm platform the finished level is between 90 and 140 mm from the floor.

5 · Lay the platforms

The platforms rest on the feet: the plate pins go into the pre-drilled holes and hold them in place.

6 · Level from above

The notches on corners and sides give access to the top of the rod: fine levelling is done with the key from above, without lifting the platforms.

7 · Finish

Floor tiles go on top of the platforms; the perimeter is closed with edge covers in the same finish.

The 50 mm travel of the foot absorbs the slopes and joints of the hall floor; the void under the platforms stays free for cables and services.

How many feet you need

In the basic layout the feet sit at the corners and are shared between neighbouring platforms: on a regular grid that is just over one foot per platform. Where many people walk, under heavy furniture or on very uneven floors, add feet at mid-sides and in the centre. Send us the floor plan and we will count them with the quote.

Frequently asked questions

How far does an adjustable foot rise?

From 50 to 100 mm. With the 40 mm platform the finished level is 90 to 140 mm from the floor, plus the thickness of the floor tile.

How do you adjust the height once the platforms are laid?

From above, through the notches at the corners and sides of the platform: reach the top of the rod with the key and level without lifting anything.

Which sizes are available?

998 × 998, 998 × 498 and 498 × 498 mm, 40 mm thick. Other sizes are made to measure from a drawing, even single pieces.

Can a wall panel be used as a platform?

No. Platforms have a high-load honeycomb core and a central rail; a wall panel is not designed to be walked on.
