A contractor building a stand answers to the venue regulations and to the fire officer. This page sets out what we hand over with the delivery and how to ask for it.
You get asked twice: at stand plan approval, and again at the inspection before opening. Neither time is it enough that the material is fire-rated: there has to be a document that travels with the delivery and can be produced. A "fire-rated" panel with nothing to show for it is, procedurally, an ordinary panel.
That is why the fire-performance documentation for the material supplied is included with the delivery on our fire-rated finishes, at no extra cost and without a separate request.
If the venue or your client wants a particular format or additional evidence, tell us when you order. Chasing a document once the stand is already standing is the worst position to be in — and it happens more often than you would think.
The standard skins on our panels. FSC concerns responsible sourcing of the raw material, CARB concerns formaldehyde emissions — the parameter most often asked for in contract and public specifications.
The skins used on the fire-rated finishes. The choice of material is what determines the fire performance of the finished panel, and it is the subject of the documentation we supply.
Used across our whole production, not only on the fire-rated finishes. Together with sanded skins it is what makes the bond even.
Frames made only from full-length battens. Not a certificate but a construction decision: knots are where a frame breaks, and pieced battens open up over time.
We work to the quality standards of FederlegnoArredo, the Italian federation of the wood and furniture industries.
With the delivery we hand over the documentation for the material supplied, in the form the stand submission needs. It covers:
On a stand with fire requirements it pays to look at the whole package and not only the walls: it happens regularly that a project is approved on the walls and gets stuck on the doors or the floor.
If you have already ordered, write to ordini@pandooragroup.it with the order number and the product codes (they are on the data sheets: PSL, PRS, PL and so on).
If you are preparing a quote or a stand submission and want to know in advance what you will receive, write to us or call Devid on +39 388 470 6887 or Madalin on +39 335 632 6505. We work in English, French, German and Italian, and it is far easier to settle this before the order than after it.
