Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) sits inside Expo City Dubai, in Dubai South, close to Al Maktoum International Airport and to the Jebel Ali port area. The shows moving there are among the biggest in the region — which means large custom stands, tall walls carrying heavy screens and build-up windows that do not move.
The real novelty is that several shows now split across two venues: WHX and Gulfood run at both Dubai World Trade Centre and DEC. A stand builder working both sites in the same week benefits most from a modular system — the same standard panels, the same connectors, the same doors — rather than two sets of one-off carpentry.
