The panel every stand build starts from: perimeter walls, partitions, graphic backdrops. 40 or 50 mm thick, heights from 2,500 to 6,000 mm, five finishes, standard sizes always in stock.
The standard panel PSL is the base element of any exhibition stand: the walls that close the plot, the internal partitions, the backdrops that carry the graphics. It arrives trimmed and grooved — the perimeter grooves are matched to our alignment strips and connectors, so the build is dry: no glue, no tools, done by hand.
The reason exhibition work uses a honeycomb panel rather than a solid one comes down to weight. A three-metre sheet of solid MDF needs two people and a trolley; the same panel in honeycomb is carried and stood up by one person. On an overnight build of a few hours, with several trades working the same hall at once, that is exactly the difference between finishing on time and not finishing.
The second reason is reuse. The perimeter frame is what lets the panel survive the dismantle, the loading and the road: a PSL that is looked after will take dozens of cycles without bowing or losing square.
Every panel that leaves our plant in Fontanelle, near Treviso, is built the same way. These construction details are what decide whether a honeycomb panel lasts one season or ten.
Knot-free and made only from full-length battens. Knots are where a frame breaks and pieced battens open up over time, so we don't use either.
High grammage, perforated: it transfers load between the two skins and keeps the panel flat after dozens of build-up and dismantle cycles.
On every single panel. It lets gases escape during pressing and cooling — without venting the panel bows, and you only find out at the show.
white wood adhesive, together with sanded skins. That is the only way the bond is even across the whole surface, with no dead zones that give way in transit.
The PSL comes in two thicknesses. 40 mm covers the large majority of cases; 50 mm is what you take where the span is long, where the wall is free-standing on one side, or where things are hung from it — in which case it is also worth looking at the reinforced panel PZL.
Standard widths are 500 and 1,000 mm, heights from 2,500 to 6,000 mm. The six-metre panel is a production run that needs its own press and its own handling — not every manufacturer offers it; with us it is a price-list item.

Five finishes, available on every size, in ascending price order:
Fire-rated versions of the white and black laminate are available on all sizes at extra cost. RAL-lacquered finishes have their own price list.
The rule of thumb we give our customers: 40 mm as standard, 50 mm when the panel is working. The panel is working when the span goes past three metres with no intermediate support, when it is free-standing on one side, when something is hung from it, or when the stand is built and dismantled several times in a season.
Dropping the thickness below what the span asks for is one of two savings that turn against you at the first build. The other is leaving out reinforcement where it is needed: in the factory it costs very little, on site it costs a great deal.
Standard sizes are always in stock. We normally ship within 7 days of order confirmation and in practice almost always sooner: in exhibition work the enquiry arrives from one day to the next, and we are set up for that.
For deliveries outside Italy we agree the build-up slot, the customs paperwork where it applies and the transport documents with you in advance.
Up to 6,000 mm, in 500 and 1,000 mm widths. That run needs a dedicated press and the handling to match: we make it in our own plant and it is a regular price-list item.
No. We make single pieces, and we charge no cutting surcharge on non-standard sizes: you pay the price of the next standard size up.
Standard sizes are always in stock. We normally ship within 7 days of order confirmation, usually sooner — including direct to the exhibition halls.
Yes, always. The perimeter grooves match our alignment strips and the I, L, T and X connectors: the build is dry, with no reworking on site.
Sizes, quantities and finish: with those three things we normally send a written quote within 24 working hours. We work in English, French, German and Italian.
