A machined slat grid for hanging shelves, brackets and modular display fittings. The wall whose layout can change during the show, without drilling.
On some stands the wall is not a backdrop, it is a working tool: display fittings, collections, footwear, bottles, material samples. And the layout changes — during the build, and often during the show too, because the sales team moves stock around depending on how it is going.
The slatwall panel PGL has the grid machined in: shelves, brackets and hangers go on and move by hand — no drilling, no plugs, no holes to fill at the end of the show. On a stand that has to survive several editions, that is the difference between rebuilding and building again from scratch.
Away from trade fairs its natural home is retail and the permanent showroom, where the same wall carries different collections through the year.
Every panel that leaves our plant in Fontanelle, near Treviso, is built the same way. These construction details are what decide whether a honeycomb panel lasts one season or ten.
Knot-free and made only from full-length battens. Knots are where a frame breaks and pieced battens open up over time, so we don't use either.
High grammage, perforated: it transfers load between the two skins and keeps the panel flat after dozens of build-up and dismantle cycles.
On every single panel. It lets gases escape during pressing and cooling — without venting the panel bows, and you only find out at the show.
white wood adhesive, together with sanded skins. That is the only way the bond is even across the whole surface, with no dead zones that give way in transit.
40 mm thick, heights from 3,000 to 5,000 mm. Net prices excluding VAT, per piece.

Intermediate sizes on request, including single pieces. For heavily loaded shelves, combine with the reinforced panel.
The grid spreads the load across the surface, but it is still a honeycomb panel: for heavily loaded shelves — bottles, ironmongery, heavy sample collections — the right answer is to use reinforced panels PZL in the bays concerned, or to take the heaviest modules down to the floor.
As always, that assessment belongs at the start. Tell us at order stage what is going on display and roughly what each shelf will carry — with that we can tell you whether the grid alone is enough.
Standard sizes are always in stock. We normally ship within 7 days of order confirmation and in practice almost always sooner: in exhibition work the enquiry arrives from one day to the next, and we are set up for that.
For deliveries outside Italy we agree the build-up slot, the customs paperwork where it applies and the transport documents with you in advance.
No, the price list is for the panel. Tell us what kind of display fitting or shelf you intend to hang and we will check it against the machining.
Yes — after exhibition stands, the most common use is retail interiors and permanent showrooms.
It depends on the weight. For anything substantial, combine it with reinforced panels in the bays concerned.
Sizes, quantities and finish: with those three things we normally send a written quote within 24 working hours. We work in English, French, German and Italian.
