Ireland's principal exhibition venue — and, because Ireland is in the EU, the simplest English-speaking market we serve on paperwork.
The RDS in Ballsbridge is Ireland's main exhibition venue, and for a European supplier it has one large advantage over anywhere in Britain: Ireland is in the European Union.
That is not a detail. A delivery to Dublin is an intra-community delivery — the same procedure as shipping to Belgium or the Netherlands. No import declaration, no EORI, no importer of record to name, no duty. And if the freight goes by a direct France–Ireland crossing rather than the UK land bridge, British customs never enter the picture at all. Post-Brexit that routing has become the normal one for Irish hauliers, and it is worth specifying. The comparison with Great Britain is here.
The venue itself is a mix of historic halls and newer structures, which in practice means varied floors and varied heights across the site. Adjustable feet on the levelling platforms are worth having rather than assuming a flat deck, and tall walls need corner returns and a proper connection system rather than relying on fixing to a listed structure.
The calendar is led by Showcase Ireland — the craft and gift buying fair, where the wall is a display surface and product hangs on it — and by motor, food and consumer shows. Irish exhibitors return year after year on comparable footprints, which makes this a market where owning a set of walls beats hiring repeatedly, without even the customs argument that applies in Britain.
The shows we are asked about most at this venue:
What leaves Fontanelle for a build is almost always the same package:
Standard sizes from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Our warehouse in Waalwijk holds thousands of raw honeycomb panels in standard sizes, ready to ship with no production lead time, about 100 km from the port of Rotterdam. Direct sailings from Rotterdam to Dublin keep the shipment inside the EU, with no customs step, and save the long road from Italy. More on the Waalwijk warehouse.
Made-to-measure and special versions are built in Fontanelle, province of Treviso, and that is where the lorries leave from. Dublin is roughly 1,900 km away: delivery direct to the hall in your build-up slot, or to your store if you would rather prepare the stand first.
The Republic of Ireland is in the EU: this is an intra-community delivery with no customs step, and asking for a direct France–Ireland crossing rather than the UK land bridge keeps British customs out of it entirely. The only date that matters is your build-up slot.
Standard sizes are held in stock. We normally dispatch within 7 days of order confirmation, often sooner. No minimum order, single pieces included, and no surcharge for non-standard sizes: the price of the next standard size up applies.

Yes, with the fire-performance documentation for the material supplied, at no extra charge. Read the requirement carefully in the UK: exhibitor manuals often still ask for legacy Class 1 wording to BS 476 Part 7, while the current route is BS EN 13501-1 — and the two do not convert.
