Low-wall modules at 100 mm thick

The heavier thickness for plinths, counters, central islands and architectural volumes. For when the stand should not read as a set of thin walls.

Why 100 mm

A 40 mm panel seen edge-on is a panel. A 100 mm module seen edge-on is a wall — and that difference is exactly what is meant when a stand has to convey architectural solidity rather than exhibition lightness.

Low-wall modules go where volume matters more than surface: plinths carrying products or display cases, counters and reception desks, central islands that organise the route, architectural volumes that define rooms within the stand.

There is a functional gain as well: 100 mm of thickness has room for services inside. Sockets, cabling and power to the products on display disappear with no surface trunking — which is why reception desks are almost always built from low-wall modules rather than thin panels.

How the module is built

Every panel that leaves our plant in Fontanelle, near Treviso, is built the same way. These construction details are what decide whether a honeycomb panel lasts one season or ten.

Finger-jointed spruce frame

Knot-free and made only from full-length battens. Knots are where a frame breaks and pieced battens open up over time, so we don't use either.

Perforated honeycomb core

High grammage, perforated: it transfers load between the two skins and keeps the panel flat after dozens of build-up and dismantle cycles.

Edge venting

On every single panel. It lets gases escape during pressing and cooling — without venting the panel bows, and you only find out at the show.

Class 1 adhesive

white wood adhesive, together with sanded skins. That is the only way the bond is even across the whole surface, with no dead zones that give way in transit.

Sizes and quoting

Lengths from 2,500 to 5,000 mm, widths 500 and 1,000 mm, 100 mm thick. Same finishes as the other families: raw, fire-rated, white and black laminate, RAL-lacquered.

We make fully bespoke low-wall modules to size, thickness and machining: send us the dimensioned drawing of the counter or the volume and we will quote it — including single pieces, and with no surcharge for non-standard sizes.

For reception desks there are also the MB cabinet modules, with or without a door, in 1000 × 1000 × 500 mm and 1000 × 500 × 500 mm: the quickest answer when the desk needs a services cupboard or visible storage behind it.

Standard sizes are always in stock. We normally ship within 7 days of order confirmation and in practice almost always sooner: in exhibition work the enquiry arrives from one day to the next, and we are set up for that.

For deliveries outside Italy we agree the build-up slot, the customs paperwork where it applies and the transport documents with you in advance.

Frequently asked questions

How thick are the low-wall modules?

100 mm. That thickness gives the exposed edge the presence of a masonry volume rather than a panel, and leaves room to run services inside.

Can they be made bespoke?

Yes, fully bespoke to size, thickness and machining, including single pieces. We charge no cutting surcharge on non-standard sizes.

Are they suitable for reception desks?

Yes — after plinths, that is the most common use. For the services cupboard behind, there are also the MB cabinet modules, with or without a door.
