For soft corners, columns and shaped walls. Four radii in the price list and the option of working to drawing — with the same construction as the flat panels.
A stand made only of straight walls and 90-degree corners reads as a box. The curve is the cheapest way out of that: a rounded corner, a round column, a shaped backdrop change how the space is read far more than they cost.
There is a practical reason too. On island stands, where the public passes on every side, sharp corners are where people knock into the build and where the panel suffers first. A corner rounded to a 250 mm radius absorbs the knocks and reaches the end of the show in better shape.
Our curved panel PCU keeps the construction of the flat panels — finger-jointed spruce frame, perforated honeycomb core, sanded skins — with the frame formed to the radius you specify.
The tight curve: corner rounds, broken edges, small-diameter columns. The radius that changes the feel of a corner most.
The most-used compromise: columns, curved counters, wall heads. A curve you can read, without distorting the plan.
A wide curve for backdrops and for walls that guide the visitor route without closing the space down.
The soft curve over large areas: gently shaped continuous walls, typical of larger island stands.
Lengths from 2,500 to 5,000 mm, 40 mm thick. Other radii and special geometries are made to drawing, including single pieces: send us the dimensioned drawing and we will tell you what is makeable and at what price.
Every panel that leaves our plant in Fontanelle, near Treviso, is built the same way. These construction details are what decide whether a honeycomb panel lasts one season or ten.
Knot-free and made only from full-length battens. Knots are where a frame breaks and pieced battens open up over time, so we don't use either.
High grammage, perforated: it transfers load between the two skins and keeps the panel flat after dozens of build-up and dismantle cycles.
On every single panel. It lets gases escape during pressing and cooling — without venting the panel bows, and you only find out at the show.
white wood adhesive, together with sanded skins. That is the only way the bond is even across the whole surface, with no dead zones that give way in transit.
Curved panels join into straight walls with the same connector system. On curved surfaces laminate has physical limits that depend on the radius: where the curve is tight and the surface has to be perfect, the route is the raw panel, RAL-lacquered in our own paint shop.
For complete columns there is also the folding option — columns that open in position and fold flat for transport: folding columns.
Standard sizes are always in stock. We normally ship within 7 days of order confirmation and in practice almost always sooner: in exhibition work the enquiry arrives from one day to the next, and we are set up for that.
For deliveries outside Italy we agree the build-up slot, the customs paperwork where it applies and the transport documents with you in advance.
In the price list, 250, 500, 750 and 1,000 mm, in lengths from 2,500 to 5,000 mm and 40 mm thick. Other radii and special geometries are made to drawing, including single pieces.
On a tight radius laminate has physical limits. Where the surface has to be flawless, the raw panel RAL-lacquered in-house is the better route.
Yes, with the same connector system. The construction is identical; only the frame is formed.
Sizes, quantities and finish: with those three things we normally send a written quote within 24 working hours. We work in English, French, German and Italian.
