Aerospace. Which means the exhibits have weight, the loads are real, and the question moves from the wall to the floor.
Farnborough is aerospace and defence, and that single fact moves the whole technical conversation. On these stands an exhibitor is not showing brochures — they are showing components with mass: engine parts, assemblies, test rigs, sections of structure.
So the floor comes first. A component on a stand floor needs a levelling platform drilled for adjustable feet, with a core rated for the load — not a decorative deck. Halls are rarely flat and the airshow uses temporary structures as well as permanent halls, so adjustable feet are not a refinement here.
Then the vertical. As soon as a screen, a console or a component bracket is fixed to the wall, the standard panel is no longer the right choice: it is the reinforced version, whose internal structure gives a fixing something to bite into. That is decided at order stage, not on the stand — a screw into a honeycomb core works exactly once.
The Farnborough International Airshow is biennial and enormous, which creates a particular pattern: very large stands, prepared many months ahead, and a build-up where hundreds of contractors share the site at once. On that kind of job the material has to arrive complete and to the millimetre, because nothing can be adjusted in a queue. It is also the kind of job where a stock bought once and reused across editions makes obvious sense.
Farnborough is about 1,400 km from our workshop with a customs step on arrival, so sizes are confirmed roughly three weeks out — the sequence is here.
What we are asked for most at this venue:
What leaves Fontanelle for a build is almost always the same package:
Standard sizes from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Our warehouse in Waalwijk holds thousands of raw honeycomb panels in standard sizes, ready to ship with no production lead time. It is about 95 km from Hook of Holland: overnight ferry to Harwich, then roughly 190 km to Farnborough International — instead of 1,400 km by road from Italy, and cheaper. UK customs formalities still apply. More on the Waalwijk warehouse.
Made-to-measure and special versions are built in Fontanelle, province of Treviso, and that is where the lorries leave from. Farnborough is roughly 1,400 km away: delivery direct to the hall in your build-up slot, or to your store if you would rather prepare the stand first.
Great Britain is outside the EU, so every consignment carries an import declaration. Nothing about that is difficult, but it is sequential: we ask for sizes confirmed about three weeks out, and for the importer of record to be named at order stage rather than at dispatch — the whole picture is here.
Standard sizes are held in stock. We normally dispatch within 7 days of order confirmation, often sooner. No minimum order, single pieces included, and no surcharge for non-standard sizes: the price of the next standard size up applies.

Yes, with the fire-performance documentation for the material supplied, at no extra charge. Read the requirement carefully in the UK: exhibitor manuals often still ask for legacy Class 1 wording to BS 476 Part 7, while the current route is BS EN 13501-1 — and the two do not convert.
