The UK's biggest exhibition centre, and the home of the trade shows with the heaviest Italian exhibitor presence. We make the panels and ship them in.
Spring Fair and Autumn Fair are the shows where our slatwall panel earns its place: on a gift or homeware stand the wall is not a backdrop, it is the display, and the layout gets rearranged during the show itself. Being able to move a shelf by hand rather than drill for it is worth more than it sounds on a five-day run.
For the larger builds at Autosport and the Caravan show, the two positions that need deciding from the drawing are the levelling platforms for the raised floor and the reinforced panels wherever a screen or a bracket is hung. Both cost very little in the factory and a great deal on site.
The shows we are most often asked to supply at this venue:
What leaves Fontanelle for a build is almost always the same package:
Standard sizes from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Our warehouse in Waalwijk holds thousands of raw honeycomb panels in standard sizes, ready to ship with no production lead time. It is about 95 km from Hook of Holland: overnight ferry to Harwich, then roughly 250 km to NEC Birmingham — instead of 1,630 km by road from Italy, and cheaper. UK customs formalities still apply. More on the Waalwijk warehouse.
Made-to-measure and special versions are built in Fontanelle, in the province of Treviso, and the trucks leave from there. Birmingham is 1,630 km away: a run we make regularly, with direct delivery into the hall within your build slot, or to your warehouse if you would rather pre-build the stand.
Deliveries to Birmingham sit outside the EU customs union, so the movement carries an export declaration on our side and an import entry on yours. That is a matter of a few days of lead time, not an obstacle — but it has to be planned before the truck is loaded, not while it is at the border. Tell us the consignee and the customs broker at order stage and we prepare the transport documents around them.
Standard sizes are always in stock. We normally ship within 7 days of order confirmation, and in practice usually sooner. No minimum order, no surcharge for non-standard sizes.
